Vikram has been investing or working with real estate developers for past 2 decades. After doing his B Tech from IIT Delhi, he worked in professional services across Software and Solar Energy Industries (where he was in charge of selling solar power to corporates such as Accenture, Microsoft etc). Along with his professional career he was moonlighting in Real estate.
During a casual discussion with a close friend who was working with Wipro as Software Engineer for 12 years and a startup founder who had raised over $50 million, both said real estate purchase as one of their worst decisions in terms of both returns and difficulty of purchasing. Managing the investment property has been even more challenging and time-consuming leading to an overall bad experience. Through further research and anonymous surveys, he realised the massive gap in information and standards of service provided by the existing websites, brokers and service providers.
ORO is an attempt to solve these challenges.
